Temples changing with Shivanama memories

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the temples in the Shiva temples in the district center are resounding with the remembrance of Lord Shiva, Hara, Hara Mahadeva, Sambho Shankara. Devotees are celebrating the Mahashivratri festival with devotion and worship to Shivalinga.

In celebration of Mahashivratri in Jagityala district center, devotees are gathering in large numbers in Shiva temples from early morning and performing pooja programs to Shivalinga. Along with the Sri Madeleswara Swamy Temple near the local fresh water well.

Sri Gutta Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple, Vishveshwara Temple near the tower, Harihara Temple in Brahmana street, Dharamshala Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vani Nagar and other Shiva Temples on the day of Maha Shivratri devotees perform fasting initiations and perform Abhishekadi Pooja programs to Lord Shiva with devotional offerings.

On this occasion, Palepu Chandrasekhara Sharma, a mythological seer from the district center, explained the uniqueness of Mahashivratri by celebrating the day of Mahashivratri.
